Works Begin Onsite for Sixth Form’s New Business Skills Centre
HPA have been appointed by Barrow Sixth Form College to plan and design their improved Business Skills Centre, which will facilitate start-ups and micro SME’s.
The pre-existing area for redevelopment is the school’s Abbey Building, which will be retrofitted to fit this Business Skills Centre and its new amenities. Complete with fresh branding and furnishings, the space will provide functional and convenient work areas for hire at an inexpensive cost.
The area will also enable media students to be taught within an enhanced environment, combining a welcome place to support the outside business community with an internal, revitalized space to pursue passions. The Centre will be designed to provide video conferencing and breakout spaces where teams can meet virtually.
This project is another of HPA’s collaborations with Barrow Sixth Form College, having recently assisted with a feasibility and funding application for the refurbishment of educational spaces. Pinington Ltd have also been appointed as main Contractor for the upcoming works.
