Work Experiences at HPA
With an extensive history in student mentoring, HPA offer a number of work experience opportunities annually. These are credible in providing knowledge and the development of professional skills, as well as gaining an inside look at what goes into working in an architecture practice.
We recently welcomed our most recent student of the Escape2Make Architecture Youth Group for weeklong work experience, as well as students from Kendal College, QES, and Lancaster Girls Grammar. Kerry filled her time sitting in on important client meetings involving the Grand Theatre, gaining useful advice, and answers to her many questions regarding the industry.
Kerry even attended a visit onsite to the Royal Kings Arms with one of our leading architects, and produced a series of vision boards, that were later displayed at the Escape2Make Green Festival.
Opportunities of work experience like this are invaluable to taking the first steps into choosing a potential career path, especially in architecture. HPA are dedicated to offering this first-hand practice and insight for students, and it is a key attribute of our company culture.
