Mike Rich

After travelling around South America, Mike obtained an undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Huddersfield.

He then took a more technical focussed career route and is he now a member of CIAT (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists).

Mike has been with HPA since 2001 and has a vast experience in detailing and producing construction drawings.

Mike has acquired a specialism in detailing large housing schemes and worked on a large number of commercial and industrial projects in the practice.

Notably, Mike has worked on various housing schemes for  L & W Wilson and The Guinness Partnership.

More recently he has been involved with the delivery of Baxter International factory in Liverpool and other large industrial projects. Mike enjoys the technical challenge of how industrial and food processes interact with the building fabric and enjoys the design challenge of simplification.

Mike is Barrovian and is passionate about the trains running on time.
