Lyndsay Holt
Lyndsay attended the Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School and has spent over two decades working in Operations Management and Human Resources with a focus on compliance.
Whilst in role as Head of People & Culture for a national security company, Lyndsay studied a L5 Diploma in Human Resources Management at UCLan to cement her HR knowledge and become an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD), later completing a diploma in Mental Health Awareness and training to become a Corporate Wellbeing Mentor.
Born in Central Africa but raised in a village just outside Lancaster, Lyndsay has been a longtime advocate for the city, most recently working to promote and support local businesses through her work with local radio and the Lancaster Business Improvement District.
She is passionate about nature, gardening and interiors, in particular the relationship between outdoor and indoor spaces and the impact of natural light and green spaces on wellbeing.
Retaining a love of Africa and its wildlife, Lyndsay has travelled extensively around South Africa to return with design ideas for her garden and entertaining spaces. In her spare time Lyndsay is most likely to be found in her garden with her tatty old sausage dog, Oscar, getting messy with craft and DIY projects or spending time with her collection of exotic animals.
