Holly Bate
Holly Bate joined HPA to begin her year out in practice (Part 1) after completing her undergraduate Architecture course at the University of Huddersfield in May 2021. As Postgraduate Assistant, Holly will be working with HPA for the next four years of her degree, by the end of which she will be fully qualified as an Architect.
As part of her apprenticeship, Holly is working towards her RIBA Part 2 and 3 qualifications, learning a range of technical skills and appropriate knowledge that can be applied to the practice. Additionally, Holly collaborates with fellow students in teaching and learning new softwares and technologies, as a step towards improving her own individual architectural style moving forwards.
Originally from Warrington, Holly achieved an A* distinction on her Art Foundation course at college, before moving to live in Australia for a year. A keen lover of travel, she was able to experience new communities and cultures throughout the northeast region of Queensland. After this incredible year out, Holly returned to the UK in 2018 to begin her undergraduate studies in Architecture.
Holly is a huge dog lover and enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Issie and Bean.
