Alec Hunter

Alec has recently joined the HPA team but has worked as an architect for over 15 years, involved in a wide range of projects in Norfolk and the South East region. His work has spanned all stages of the architectural process and he places sustainable and environmental design at the heart of every job. Alec is an advocate of functionality and contextual design, which complements and enhances its surroundings, and he enjoys working collaboratively with clients to design buildings that fully achieve these aims along with their own.

Alec has worked in the healthcare, commercial, higher education, and conservation sectors, with a particular emphasis on small-scale and large-scale residential development, and has a keen interest in successful place-making and in the broader social value that well-considered design can achieve.
