Specialist Conservation Support Service for Local Planning Authorities

Our in-house Heritage Consultant Jess has been supporting Rochdale Borough Council as a specialist Consultee to provide advice in relation to applications for works to listed buildings, conservation areas and proposals involving non-designated heritage assets.

Jess’s former work as a Conservation Officer has given her extensive experience working as a Development Management Consultee whilst also completing Conservation Area Appraisals, establishing Local Lists of Heritage Assets, supporting trusts and charities involved with historic buildings, advising on developing masterplans along with shaping and guiding planning policy in relation to the historic built environment.
