Planning Permission Granted for Donkey Creek Touring Caravan Park

Planning Permission has been granted by Fylde Borough Council for a major extension to the Touring Caravan Park at Donkey Creek Caravan Park, Freckleton, Lancashire. The Planning Application, which was designed and submitted, includes 39 additional touring pitches and 4 new glamping pods.

The Touring Park is expanding due to its overwhelming success, since opening in 2018. The original caravan park design, created by HPA, was approved in 2017. Since then, it has been extremely popular and regularly at capacity during peak season.

As a result, the Touring Park has had beneficial impacts upon a number of local pubs, restaurants, and shops – many of whom supported the recent Application to double the site size. Another reason for its popularity has been the 5 star facilities, also designed by HPA. The amenity building, which has been kept spotlessly clean by owners, won a ‘Loo of the Year Award’ in 2018.
