New HPA Appointments – Jess Scott & Anthony Dickens!
HPA has expanded its team with two new appointments:
- Jess Scott and Anthony Dickens have joined the practice, expanding the Lancaster firm’s staff to 15.
- Anthony joins as a Senior Architect, whilst Jess joins as Planning and Heritage Consultant.
Jess Scott
After studying Rural Enterprise and Land Management, Jess began her career as a geomatic land surveyor. She gained invaluable experience completing high accuracy surveys of historic buildings across the United Kingdom. Therefore, to expand her knowledge and understanding of the historic environment, Jess returned to full time education to complete a Masters in Historic Building Conservation at the University of Bath.
Since completing her Masters Jess has worked in the private sector as a Project Manager. She has also worked in the Public Sector as a Conservation Officer at Aberdeenshire Council, Lancaster City Council. Jess has most recently worked in the Rochdale Borough Council. This work has given Jess extensive experience supporting projects that seek to regenerate heritage assets.
Jess brings a considerable knowledge of Planning and Conservation Policy, as well as her first hand experience in Local Authority Planning Processes to HPA.
Anthony Dickens
Previously studying Architecture in Leeds before graduating in 2002, Anthony qualified as an Architect 2005. He joined HPA as a Senior Architect in spring 2021 having worked for practices including Architects Plus in Carlisle, AFL and Broadway Malyan in Manchester.
He has a great deal of experience in the Commercial, Education, Leisure and Residential Sectors (both Private Residential and Developer-Led). Anthony has also worked on small sized projects through to multi-million pound schemes. He enjoys seeing jobs through from Concept Stage all the way through to Completion.
Anthony brings to HPA his enthusiasm and love of all things design, and vast experience in the use of the Revit Software.
