HPA Architects are proud to support the production of the Lancaster Heritage Guide with Lancaster BID to celebrate ‘Lancaster Day’ and our city’s rich heritage.
Weds 12th June marks the signing of the original Charter – on 12th June 1193 – with the city’s first ‘Lancaster Day’ celebration in the city.
Following the success of the Rewind Exhibition 2022, which drew upon archived photographs of Lancaster of the past from the RIBA Photograph Archive and was displayed at Lancaster Museum, HPA Architects are continuing to support Lancaster BID in celebrating our city’s heritage with the production of the Lancaster Heritage Guide.
Listing and locating Lancaster’s Heritage Points of Interest, the guide includes a Digital Heritage Trail of the city’s heritage buildings, featuring QR codes displayed in the windows at each point of interest on the map to discover fascinating facts and see photos, old and new, of each location.
As a feature of the celebrations, the original charter will be showcased in Lancaster City Museum from 10am to 4pm.
HPA Architects is committed to creating remarkable places with lasting impact which have a profound effect on people’s lives and make a positive, lasting difference.
