Lancaster Business, Chiptech Expands Into New Lancaster Premises

Chiptech, a local Lancaster based tech company are expanding and moving into new premises at Palatine Hall in Dalton Square.

Chiptech are a leading provider of digital care alarms for the elderly and vulnerable and are leaders in their technology field. They are double Lancashire Red Rose award winners, winning in both the Scale-up and Small Business categories in the 2023 awards.

With HPA’s assistance, Chiptech have plans to re-design the space, improving the layout and modernising throughout with the aim of bringing the space up to contemporary office standards, and providing a more creative, collaborative work environment for Chiptech’s growing employee network.  The expansion into the new space will also see a number of employment opportunities within various sectors including technology, sales, finance and administration.

Sitting in the heart of Lancaster, Palatine Hall is a listed building that was built originally as a Roman Catholic Church but has since been used for numerous other purposes.
