LABC Regional Awards Success for HPA
HPA are Regional Winners for the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2022. We have been nominated for our planning and developed design work at Warton Grange Close, alongside Wilson & Co Properties and RG Parkins.
LABC is the Local Authority Building Control who represent all the subsequent teams in England and Wales. They hold these Awards in order to celebrate outstanding projects and contributions to the construction industry – as well as the best-of-the-best in technical innovation.
Warton Grange Close is up for the Best Medium Volume New Housing Development 2022 Award. Having acted as both Architect and Planning Consultants for Wilson & Co, we couldn’t be more thrilled to see this property gaining the recognition it deserves.
During this process, we produced a high-quality, residential development consisting of 25 various properties inside of the Arnside and Silverdale National Landscapes. Our team worked closely with the Local Planning Authority in order to develop the site layout itself and the housing designs, before we gained successful Reserved Matters Planning Permission.
In later stages, we provided construction drawings and details, and provided assistance onsite where necessary. It was integral to us that the houses used materials prevalent within its local area, such as stone walls and slate roofs, and were tied together with a strong sense of community.
The LABC Awards ceremony will be held in London in early January. Good luck to all the other nominations – we can’t wait to see you all in attendance.
