HPA Architects are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic candidate to become part of the team as the Studio Manager who can personalise and make the role their own.
HPA Architects is a renowned architectural design practice known for its versatility, spanning projects from contemporary commercial and leisure developments to bespoke residential designs and the meticulous restoration of historic buildings across the UK. Our studio, situated in a converted warehouse overlooking Lancaster Castle, is a growing hub bordering the Lake District and conveniently located less than an hour from Manchester.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic with a proactive work approach.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Some Photoshop and InDesign experience is beneficial.
- An interest in Architecture.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Dependent on experience and aptitude, responsibilities may include:
- Perform general office tasks, including phone handling, photocopying, printing, and filing.
- Welcoming clients during meetings.
- Monitoring Planning Applications.
- Format presentations and documents.
- Provide typing and secretarial duties to support the Architectural Team.
- Maintain office supplies and perform general housekeeping.
- Coordinating Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities
- Organise and book annual Office Trip.
PR & Marketing
- Create and schedule regular social media posts, enhancing digital engagement.
- Coordinate PR & Marketing efforts and liaising with external agencies.
- Produce brochures and Submission Documents, including content creation.
- Write copy for Architectural Publications, Press Releases, and website content.
- Attend networking events.
- Prepare award submissions, including presentations, written content, and interviews.
