Jess Barrow Accredited with IHBC Full Membership!
In recognition of her knowledge and experience, our Planning and Heritage Consultant Jess Barrow has gained her Full Membership with the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC).
The IHBC represents professionals involved in the conservation of the historic environment. Jess’ award of full membership recognises her multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary skill set which she gained in industry following the completion of her MSc in Conservation of Historic Buildings. This experience was gained through working as a Conservation Officer, delivering restoration and refurbishment projects and supporting large schemes through national grant funding processes.
Jess has the specialist skill set required to work with heritage assets and her experience can help find appropriate solutions to unlock listed buildings and sites in conservation areas. Jess compiles conservation statements, heritage statements, impact assessments and advises on technical specifications and works methodologies to historic buildings on behalf for our clients. HPA have recently acted as Heritage Consultants for a number of local Authorities within the north west and have assisted other Architects as an independent consultant.
