HPA WELCOMES ESME, AND WISHES RAYANNE BEST OF LUCK

This year HPA said goodbye to Rayanne who has started a new adventure, furthering her career in Leeds. Rayanne has been a wonderful asset and all the team here at HPA wish her all the very best of luck for the future!

Esme joined HPA in November having worked as an Architectural Assistance at Studio SDA since her graduation in July.

Esme has ample experience working within the architectural environment, having previously worked as an Architectural Assistant at Ben Cunliffe Architects in Cumbria and as an administrator at Roberts Limbrick Ltd. in Gloucester.

Graduating from University of Central Lancashire with a Master of Architecture, Esme is interested in continuing her professional development working within the design studio and gaining more experience within professional practice. Esme’s main responsibilities range from PR and Marketing to office administration and management, assisting the architects in the office.

Esme is particularly interested in vernacular buildings, architectural history and how buildings can be sensitive to the environments they inhabit. Her master’s dissertation was a critique of how contemporary architectural practice has responded to the vernacular, landscape and climate of the Scottish Hebrides.

Having lived in many various locations in the North and South of England, Esme appreciates being close to the inspiring landscapes of the Lake District and the Pennines. Rejuvenated by exploring the wild, whether it be mountain climbing or wild swimming, Esme’s eager to continue taking inspiration from natural environment.
