HPA Supporting New School Nurseries

Schools out but the work is on.

HPA are delighted to be supporting three local district primary schools in the delivery of improvements to their learning spaces, to create nursery classroom refurbishments that will provide additional spaces for nursery children.

In total, 642 schools applied for funding from the school-based nursery capital grant from the Department for Education. Applications were spread across 135 local authorities. The applicants had to bid for a share of £75.8m, and our clients secured the only funds allocated within south Cumbria and Lancashire.

HPA are now working closely with the school teams at Grosvenor Park, Mossgate and Storth CE Primary Schools and selected contractors to manage the works over the summer period to deliver the grant funded works in the Autumn, acting as Principal Designers and Contract Administrators to the team.
