HPA Success at Lancaster Design Awards!
HPA are celebrating after scooping 2 awards and 2 commendations at the Lancaster Design Awards last night. The practice received the greatest number of awards and commendations from this year’s round of entries.
The Awards were for the best buildings built in the Lancaster District over the last 5 years. Architects ranging from sole-practitioners through to major national practices were amongst the recipients. The Lancaster Design Awards are run by the Local Chamber of Commerce and the Civic Society. Acclaimed Architectural writer and former technical editor of ‘The Architect’s Journal’, Susan Dawson, was the Chairman of the judging panel.
The successful entries were:
Extension to No.12 The Nook, Bolton-le-Sands: AWARD
Extension and refurbishment of Burrow Farm: AWARD
Renovation of 15 King Street: COMMENDATION
New Disabled WC and re-ordering at St Oswald’s Church, Warton: COMMENDATION
