HPA Sponsor Local Women’s Cricket Team

HPA are pleased to support Silverdale Cricket Club in their bid for ladies changing facilities to encourage more women and girls being introduced to the game.

The ladies team currently play in the Women’s Westmorland Softball Cricket League. This is their third year, after being runners up in 2024 after winning all their league games and making it through to the finals. Silverdale Cricket Club itself was formed in 1893, and now have, alongside the Women’s team, two other adult teams and several junior teams.

Silverdale currently have a crowd funder appeal active which is benefiting from Sport England funding, should they make the target.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be able to assist this longstanding local club and wish them all the best with reaching their target.
