HPA Secures Housing Deal for Landowner
HPA has gained outline Planning Consent for 50 homes in the village of Galgate, near Lancaster, and secured a deal on behalf of the landowner with a national housebuilder. The practice successfully marketed and sold the 4.35 acre site, known as Launds Fields, to Persimmon Homes on behalf of the landowner.
Persimmon is now building the high-quality development, which features 35 homes for private sale and 15 affordable homes targeted at first time-buyers and families.
Richard Wooldridge, a director of HPA, commented: “We’ve worked very closely with the landowner to deliver a solution that enables them to unlock the value in the site and allow much needed new housing to be built in an area where there is high demand.”
The 2, 3 and 4 bedroom development has been designed to complement existing housing in the area, including the nearby Crofters Fold development. The predominantly greenfield site was previously occupied by storage buildings and a licensed caravan site and amenity block.
