HPA Leisure projects featured in ‘Top 100 Sites Guide 2023’

Leading caravan & motor home publication, Practical Caravan has released its annual, ‘Top 100 Sites Guide‘ for 2023 and we are delighted to see that three HPA designed sites are featured on the list.

As voted for by the guests that stay there and featuring the top 100 caravan holiday destinations in the UK, the list is made up of independently owned sites from all corners of the UK, from the lush greenery of Northern Ireland to the exquisite magic of the Lake District.

As well as making it on to the list, Ludlow Touring Park in Shropshire was also voted the ‘Best Site for Motorhomes’ in the UK. The site was 2022’s regional winner and is located on the outskirts of the ancient midlands market town. The HPA designed site also came third in the ‘Best Site for Touring Caravans’ category for 2023.

Stanmore Hall, Bridgnorth, another site belonging to our longstanding client Morris Leisure also featured on the list and was voted number 10 for motorhomes. Morris Leisure operate a number of high quality touring sites in the Shropshire and North Wales area. Oxon in Shrewsbury was also featured in the top 100, meaning that for 7 years running, Ludlow, Stanmore and Oxon have made it to the Top 100 list, showcasing their excellence and high standards in the industry.

Practical Caravan magazine also featured a site directory of 500 ‘other brilliant places to stay in all regions’ which included a further three sites that HPA has worked on. These included Llanberis Touring Park and Riverside Touring Park, both of which are in Wales and part of the Morris Leisure Group and also Skelwith Fold in the heart of the Lake District.

As a member of the The Caravan and Motorhome Club, over the past 40 years HPA have assisted in the development of over 50 sites for them, across the UK. We have acquired a national reputation and a vast, specialist experience in this sector, having worked on new build sites as well as site refurbishments. The Caravan and Motorhome Club (formerly known as the Caravan Club) was in fact the first major client that HPA gained when the practice began back in 1979.
