HPA Attends Prestigious AJ Architecture Awards
Last week, HPA Directors Richard & Zoe attended the Architects Journal Architecture Awards, in London.
As finalists in the under £500k category with the Another Place, Treehouse project, HPA were the only northern based practice in the category, for Projects under £500,000 – which has been subdivided for the first time this year.
The awards, focusing on projects completed between January 2022 and July 2023, rigorously assessed shortlisted buildings for design quality, build, user experience, and contextual contribution. Sustainability was a key focus, including whole-life carbon evaluation and biodiversity considerations.
Being named finalists not only emphasizes HPA’s innovative design of the Treehouse at Another Place but also positions us among fellow architects from across the UK. This recognition at the AJ Architecture Awards event highlights HPA’s dedication to designing structures that seamlessly integrate with the natural environment.
