HPA Attend BE-ST Fest 2022
Yesterday, two of the HPA team attended the BE-ST Festival, at Glasgow University. This event discussed and prioritised the Zero Carbon Built Environment.
Jess Barrow, our Heritage and Planning Consultant, and Simon Lock, our recently appointed Energy and Sustainability Consultant, travelled down early to Glasgow to catch the morning speeches and talks, as well as the available workshops on offer.
The exposition was aimed at advancing personal and collective journeys to zero carbon built environments. Jess and Simon also attended a factory tour to look at insulation development and technology systems, and the pair spoke to various specialist suppliers, including the ecological building system.
It was an informative day for all involved, and Jess and Simon have brought back an extensive range of new, innovative knowledge that they’re ready to apply to HPA’s own projects.
