HPA Announced Finalists at Northern Design Awards 2022

HPA have been announced as finalists at the Northern Design Awards 2022, for the creative design process and completion of the Outside Collection, at Another Place, The Lake.

Another Place have been longstanding clients of HPA for several years now. It was within both our interests to make the most of Another Place’s unique location and topography, benefitting from the extensive lakeside frontage.

In the subsequent years of our partnership with Another Place, we were enlisted to plan and design the new Outside Collection of rooms and spaces, as the leading architects. These plans for both the main hotel, and Outside have helped Another Place achieve a distinct mix of active, social, and relaxed hospitality – setting it apart from other leisure facilities.

The Outside Collection consists of the Treehouse, Shepherd Huts, Glasshouse, and Sheep Shed. These spaces are set within the grounds of Another Place, intended to invite guests to stay closer to the surrounding beauty of its Ullswater location. The entire Collection was designed by HPA to take advantage of the sublime natural environment, in a unique and innovative approach.
