Collecting What Counts: HPA Shortlisted In Planet Mark Awards for Data Excellence
We were proud to attend the Planet Mark Awards, held in London on Thursday 6th November, as finalists in the Data Quality & Collection category.
This category shines a spotlight on organisations that have demonstrated continuous improvement and most efficiently managed their emissions data, ensuring data quality, and a smooth collection and certification process for Scopes 1 and 2.
Shortlisted alongside three other companies from a cohort of more than 700 businesses, this achievement is a testament to our commitment to sustainability and transparency. Accurate data collection is the foundation of meaningful environmental action, and we’ve worked tirelessly to embed robust processes that measure, monitor, and improve our carbon performance.
Proudly represented at the ceremony by Sustainability Consultant Simon Lock of sister company, Woohoo – specialists in Heritage & Sustainability – he has helped us double down our commitment to quality data collection and statistical relevance. A huge thank you to Lucy Housden, our Accounts & Quality Manager, for all her hard work and dedication in driving these improvements and whose efforts have been instrumental in achieving this recognition.
Being shortlisted within this category highlights the progress we’ve made in integrating sustainability into every aspect of our work. From improving data accuracy to implementing best practices in carbon reporting, we aim to lead by example in the architectural sector.
Thank you to Planet Mark for recognising our commitment, and congratulations to all the nominees and winners. Together, we’re shaping a future where sustainability is at the heart of every decision.
