Celebrating Senior Architect Promotions at HPA: Congratulations to Hayley & Emma
At HPA Architects, we believe in nurturing talent and providing opportunities for growth within our team, so we are especially proud to announce that we have recently promoted two of our most dedicated and talented architects, Hayley Dufton and Emma Newport, to the position of Senior Architect.
After earning her qualifications as a RIBA architect in 2015, Hayley joined HPA Architects in 2016, bringing with her a strong academic background from the University of Nottingham, where she completed both her undergraduate and master’s degrees. Hayley is passionate about improvement and compliance and her commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) is particularly noteworthy. Hayley has led several CPD sessions, sharing her knowledge and insights with her peers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the practice. Hayley has worked on a variety of projects at HPA including private housing, flats, site master planning, camping and leisure sites.
Emma has been with HPA throughout her architectural studies. She achieved a significant milestone in 2018 when she obtained a first-class degree in her postgraduate studies and, in 2020, Emma further solidified her expertise by passing her RIBA Part 3 Advanced Diploma, becoming a registered Architect with the Architects Registration Board (ARB). Her passion for architecture is deeply rooted in her interest in heritage and conservation areas, to which she has made substantial contributions. Emma has played a key role in several heritage and conservation projects, most notably as part of the Lancaster High Street Heritage Action Zone (HSHAZ) initiative. Additionally, Emma has been involved with our Church Conservation projects, showcasing her ability to preserve and protect historic structures, ensuring their legacy for future generations.
This marks an exciting career chapter for both Hayley and Emma – their unique talents and dedication to their work not only strengthens our team but also ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional results to our clients. We are proud of all that Hayley and Emma have achieved and are excited to see the innovative and inspiring work they will undoubtedly produce in their new roles.
