Celebrating Heritage Open Days!
Heritage Open Days, England’s largest festival of history and culture, is taking place this year from September 12-21. The festival allows the general public free access to a variety of cultural and historic venues.
Lancaster has many venues included in the festival, allowing locals to get closer to the history of the area and experience things that they might not normally have access to.
HPA has a passion for the conservation and promotion of historical landmarks and buildings, and have worked on several heritage structures, listed buildings, and historic places in the local area. We are proud that some of these buildings are included in this year’s Heritage celebrations, including The Grand Theatre, Lancaster Castle, and Christ Church Lancaster, to name just a few.
