Bendrigg Lodge Kitchen Officially Opened by Celebrity Chef

The refurbished, refitted, and extended kitchen and dining area at Bendrigg Lodge was opened this afternoon (27th March 2012) by acclaimed chef: Steven Doherty.

The Bendrigg Lodge is a residential activity centre based near Old Hutton in Cumbria, and specialises in providing courses for disabled and disadvantaged people.

The complete re-organisation and refurbishment of the kitchen area has provided the centre with state-of the-art facilities, and a kitchen with a wonderful view overlooking the Howgills! Another key feature of the project is a new external terrace which provides additional space for barbecues and external dining.
