HPA were engaged by Bryan Hoggarth Ltd, a long-established agricultural vehicle sales and servicing specialist, to design and gain Planning Consent for a new business premises in Carnforth, for an industrial and commercial design.
Our client required the building to be a temporary home for up to two years while a new permanent base on the same site, off the A6 Scotland Road, was going through detailed design and build.
The building would provide the Client with a large maintenance workshop and parts store, together with sales showroom, associated reception, offices, and meeting rooms, meeting an industrial and commercial project.
The design enabled the building to be constructed quickly in the form of a steel portal frame structure, with vertical larch cladding to resemble the shape and style of an agricultural building.
The temporary building allows the company, which was founded in 1976, to safeguard jobs while its new purpose-built premises are developed.
