7 Days To Go ‘Til Lancaster On Ice
The countdown to the return of Lancaster’s Christmas ice rink and ferris wheel is on with only a week left until the launch of Lancaster On Ice 2021.
HPA are proud to once again be part of the consultancy team involved in bringing the event to the city centre. Working alongside the event organisers and Lancaster City Council to ensure the festivities are accessible and can be enjoyed by all.
Based in Dalton Square in the heart of the city, Lancaster On Ice will feature one of the tallest ferris wheel’s in Europe with refreshment marquees and festive markets alongside the huge skating rink situated around the famous Grade II* listed statue of Queen Victoria.
First taking place in 2018, Lancaster on Ice was postponed last year due to the pandemic, making its presence this year hotly anticipated.
The installation will be open to the public from November 27th until January 9th between 12pm and 10pm Monday to Friday and 9am until 10pm Saturday and Sunday. The site will be open from 9am throughout the Christmas Holidays but closed on Christmas Day.
